103784: Endeavour II
The Endeavour ll was commissioned by Sir Thomas Octave Murdoch Sopwith for the 1937 America's Cup, following his narrow failure to win the 1934 Cup, she was launched on 8th June 1936.
Amongst her crew was Angus MacLeod of Berneray.
Unfortunately the series was not to be as closely contested as in 1934. On 31st July, the Ranger won the first race by 17 minutes, and went on to win the next three races, sealing the victory for the Americans.
