75570: Vita

The Vita, regarded as Charles Nicholson's most beautiful sailing creation was commissioned in 1927 and built by Camper & Nicholsons, Gosport for Thomas Sopwith. During his ownership she was crewed by several yachtsmen from Berneray.

Sopwith sold the Vita in 1929. Her new owner Sir John CE Shelley-Rolls re-named her the MY Alastor. Wrecked in 1946, she has recently been rediscovered.
