8 North Dell was a new croft in 1868 and the first tenant was John Macleod (1819-1907) Iain Choinnich from 11 North Dell. The croft was passed to his widowed daughter, Mrs Margaret Campbell (born 1841). 8 North Dell was passed to her son, Norman Campbell (born 1875) Tormod Aonghais Chaluim and then to his son, Alexander Campbell (born 1910) Alasdair Thormoid Aonghais Chaluim.
