108886: St Michael’s Chapel, Kallin, Grimsay

Teampall Naomh Mhicheil

St Michael’s Chapel, Teampall Naomh Mhicheil, was built on a promontory in the south east corner of Grimsay. The chapel is believed to have been founded by Amy MacRuairi during the second half of the 14^th century.

The building is now in ruins although the west gable survives, surrounded by a disused graveyard.
