125775: 4. Iolaire Memorial Centenary Path

The Iolaire Memorial Centenary Path is a 1 ½ m coastal trail starting from the Stornoway town centre on the Isle of Lewis. It leads to the memorial dedicated to the 1919 HMY Iolaire Disaster. The path takes about 1 hour to walk and features 201 memorial trees and at each tree is a slate engraved with the name and village of each man lost on the Iolaire.
