Alasdair Iain
Alexander (1922-2004) was a son of John Mackay and Margaret Smith, 16a Achmore. He was a seaman.
At Stornoway, in 1959, he married Christina Mary Macdonald, 11 Geshader. Alexander and Christina Mary settled at 37 Achmore and they had three children.
The croft at 22 Achmore was passed to Alexander and the family moved there.
