Murdo (1850-1921) was a son of John Mackenzie and his Unknown Mackenzie, 3 Eorodale.
At Barvas, in 1877, he married Christina Campbell, 9 North Dell. The croft at 9 North Dell was passed to Murdo and in 1877 he exchanged crofts with widow Mrs Ann Mackenzie nee Morrison, 2 Port of Ness. Murdo and Christina settled at 2 Port of Ness and they had six children.
Murdo was widowed in 1917.
