108996: Ranald MacDonald
Ranald MacDonald (1660-1732) was born in Kilmuir, Skye, a natural son of Sir James MacDonald of Sleat. On coming of age Ranald obtained the tack of Baleshare, North Uist, and was also employed as the factor of the estate of North Uist. His son Hugh inherited the tack.
