Iain Lachlainn Choinnich
John (1806-1888) was a son of Lachlan Macdonald and Margaret Maclean, 12 Drinishader, Harris.
In Lochs, in 1836, he married Christina Maclellan of 13 Habost, formerly of Taransay, Harris. John and Christina were Cottars at 12 Drinishader and they had eight children.
In the 1860s the family moved to 2 Oban, Tarbert, Isle of Harris.
