Alexander (born 1878) was the son of Malcolm Stewart and Lexy MacPherson of 1 Scotvein. He was known as Alick.

He worked as a fisherman and crofter; during the Great War he served with the Cameron Highlanders. After the war he worked in the shipyards in Glasgow.
