111236: Charles Stewart

Charles Stewart, born 1887, was the son of Malcolm Stewart and his wife Lexy MacPherson of 1 Scotvein. During the Great War he served as a deckhand with the Royal Naval Reserves. Charles was killed in action and is buried in Ireland, off the coast of which his ship was blown up.
