Isabella (born 1875) was the daughter of Duncan Macleod and Catherine Maciver of 65 Back. Her mother died in 1894 and her father later married Ann Mackenzie, 62 Back

At Fraserburgh, in 1894, she married Murdo Nicolson of 1 Coll. Isabella and Murdo were cottars at 1 Coll before moving to 13 Guershader. The couple had eight children.
