Christy (1907-1984) was the eldest daughter of Donald John Maccuish and Flora Macleod, 3 Malaclete.

At Partick, Glasgow, in 1940, she married Duncan Haggart Orr from Lochgilphead. Christy and Duncan settled in Ayrshire and they had no children.

The croft at 3 Malaclete was passed to her brother, Duncan and then to Christy.

The couple are buried at Clachan Sands New Cemetery, North Uist.
