Donald (1858-1933) was a son of Alexander Macleod and Annabella Maciver, 10 Habost. In the 1880s he moved to Stornoway to work for Kenneth Smith, Fish Curer and Merchant.
He moved to Glasgow to study for the Ministry and ministered at Glenelg, Onich and Leurbost.
At Kelvin, in 1908, he married Catherine Cowan Mackellar. Donald was widowed in 1928.
