Catherine (1852-1923) was a daughter of Donald Mackenzie and Margaret Maciver, 10 Laxay. Her mother died in 1859 and her father married Donaldina Mackay from Sutherland.
In 1884, at Garynahine, Uig, she married Donald Macdonald, 13 Habost. Catherine and Donald settled at 13 Habost and they had eight children, six of whom survived.
Christina was widowed in 1919.
