Margaret (1815-1901) was a daughter of Norman Matheson and Christina Macritchie, Carnish, Uig.
In 1835, at Uig, she married widower, Peter Macritchie, Carinish. Margaret and Peter lived at Carinish where they had six of their eleven children. In 1851 the family obtained 7 Aird, Uig.
Margaret was widowed in 1883 and she died in 1901 at the age of 87; her son Norman was the informant.
