Iain Iain

John (born c1788) was a son of John Mackay and Christina Macdonald, Kirkibost.

He married Christina Mackay from Crulivig. The couple lived at 3 Earshader and they had seven children.

According to local tradition the family, with the exception of Catherine, emigrated to Canada and settled at  Huron County.
