Helen Ferguson (1893-1977) was from Blair Atholl. She worked for a short time as District Nurse in Bernera.
She married George Macleod from 6 Breaclete. Helen and George settled in Stornoway at 9 Torquil Terrace. They had no children.
Helen was widowed in 1969 and she remained in their home. She died in the County Hospital aged 85.
