24185: John Mackenzie, Reverend
John Mackenzie (1903-1981) was a son of Colin Mackenzie and Ann Matheson, 7 Laxay. He was ordained and inducted to Plockton and Kyle in 1934.
He married Ann Maciver, 13 Shulishader, Point in 1935. John was translated to Obbe Free Church, Leverburgh, Harris in 1946 and they lived in the Manse with their daughter. John retired in 1968 and the couple moved to 16 Westview Terrace, Stornoway.
