Alasdair Eòghainn Dhòmhnaill
Alexander (1910-1991) was the son of Ewen Ferguson and Catherine Morrison, 30 Laxay.
He served with the Seaforth Highlanders during the Second World War. Alexander was transferred to the Royal Engineers and served in the United Kingdom, Europe and the Far and Middle East.
At Tonbridge, in 1944, he married Ellen Florence Blackman from England. Alexander and Ellen Florence lived at 85 Plasterfield.
Alexander worked in the Tweed Mills and also did contracting work on the mainland.
