Angus (1853-1936) was a son of John Macaskill and Marion Mackenzie, 1 Arivruach.
At Balallan, in 1878, he married Mary Nicolson, 53 Balallan. Angus and Mary settled at 1 Arivruach and they had eight children only seven of whom survived.
Angus was widowed in 1927.
