Barbara (born 1748) was the daughter of Donald Macleod and Christina Macaulay, Hacklete. The family later moved to Lochs.
She married Angus Smith from Eishken. Barbara and Angus lived at what is now 13 Habost and they had at least two children.

The family also lived at 2 Seaforth Head. Barbara was widowed and went to live with her brother, Donald at Balallan.
