Iain Choinnich Chaluim
John (1916-1988) was a son of Kenneth Nicolson and Margaret Macmillan, 20 Lemreway.
He served with the Merchant Navy during the Second World War and is mentioned in Roll of Honour: Pairc, Second World War.
John married Johanna Macleod, 56 Leurbost. After the War he was a Nautical Lecturer in Newcastle where they lived for several years.
When they retired the couple returned to Lewis and lived at 56 Leurbost.
