61694: Kenneth Macleod
Coinneach Neill Choinnich
Kenneth (1859-1940) was a son of Neil Macleod and Christina Maclennan, 15 Arivruach. He was a fisherman in his early years and regularly visited the ports on the east coast of Scotland.
At Stornoway, in 1886, he married Ann Macleod from Garrabost, Point. Kenneth and Ann lived at 15 Arivruach and they had seven children.
Kenneth became a Harris Tweed weaver and was also a Church of Scotland elder for 31 years.
He was widowed in 1907. The family moved to Mossend, Stornoway in 1940.
