Aonghas Dhòmhnaill Alasdair
Angus (1892-1958) was a son of Donald Maclennan and Jessie Macmillan, 18 Marvig.
He emigrated to Canada and was a clerk with the Ogilvie Mailing Company and served in the Royal Canadian Navy Police in the First World War. Angus is mentioned in Loyal Lewis: Roll of Honour 1914-1918.
After the War he returned to Lewis and in Lochs in 1919 he married Mary Isabella Mackenzie, 13 Marvig. Angus and Mary Isabella settled at 18 Marvig and they had eight children.
