Malcolm John (1918-2004) was the son of John Munro and Catherine MacDonald of 19 Ruisgarry (Brusda). He worked for the SSPCA as an animal welfare officer, based in Stornoway.
At Stornoway, in 1957, he married a girl from Stornoway and they settled there.
19 Ruisgarry was passed to Malcolm MacLeod, he was also tenant of neighbouring 18 Ruisgarry.
