Margaret (1816-1895) was the daughter of John Maclennan and Effie Murray of 2 Old Vatisker.
She married William Macdonald, 6 Old Back. The couple were cottars in Old South Tolsta and they had eight children.
In 1851, during the croft re-lotting, the family obtained 1 North Tolsta.
