95359: Mary Maciver

Màiri Dhomhnaill Eachainn

Mary (1843-1901) was the daughter of Donald Maciver and Ann Macdonald of 19 Old South Tolsta.

Around 1847 her father died and the family settled on her maternal grandparents croft at 2 Garrabost. Shortly after, around 1853, her mother also died.

She married Malcolm Macdonald of 2 Swordale. Mary and Malcolm were cottars at 2 Swordale and later obtained 20 Swordale. The couple had nine children.
