Donald (1800-1891) was a son of Donald Macdonald and Margaret Maclean, 3 Upper Barvas.
In 1822, at Barvas, he married Catherine Macaskill, 22/23 Upper Barvas. Donald and Catherine lived at 10/11 Upper Barvas and they had ten children.
Donald was widowed in 1866 and in the late 1870s he divided the croft with his son-in-law, Murdo Maciver.
