107318: RMS/HMS Carmania 120901

RMS Carmania was an ocean liner  built by John Brown, Clydebank  in 1905 for the Cunard line. She was the first Cunard Turbine ship. At the beginning of the First World War, she was converted to an Armed Merchant Cruiser. On September 14, 1914, she engaged with and sank the German vessel SMS Cap Trafalgar off the Brazilian island of Trindade. HMS Carmania also was a Troopship and was scrapped on April 22, 1932.
