The Caleb Sprague was a British Cargo Steamship built in 1943 and owned by the Ministry of War Transport (Whimster & Co).
On January 31, 1944, on passage from Newport to London, the ship was Torpedoed by a German E-boat and the ship was sunk. 25 of the Crew lost their lives.
