119948: HMT Blackburn Rovers (FY116)
The Trawler Blackburn Rovers was built by Smith’s Dock Co Ltd, Middlesbrough in 1934 for Consolidated Fisheries. She was requisitioned by the Admiralty and used as an anti-submarine trawler. She took part in the Dunkirk evacuation with a crew of 17 and was sunk on June 2, 1940. One Crew member, William Angus Macdonald, was lost.
