120113: HMY Rosabelle

HMY Rosabelle was a Steam Yacht built by Ramage and Ferguson, Leith in 1902 and owned by Theodore Pim. Requisitioned during the First World War and was armed with one 12 pounder gun and two 6 pounder guns.

On December 11, 1941 HMY Rosabelle was torpedoed and sunk in the Strait of Gibraltar with the loss of 30 lives. 

She was requisitioned again in the Second World War and was based at HMS Cormorant  at Gibraltar.
