The SS Mongolia was a Steam Turbine Passenger and Cargo Ocean Liner built by Armstrong Whitworth, Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1922 for the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company (P & O). The ship was later transferred to the P & O Subsidiary the New Zealand Shipping Company as SS Rimutaka.
