120561: HMS President

HMS President was a Shore Based Establishment in London. Set up in 1918 as an accounting base and paid off on September 30, 1919. The accounts were transferred to HMS Pembroke.  It was Recomissioned in November 1941 as a training establishment and closed on July 14, 1944. Operations were moved to HMS Demetrius.

During the First World War President III was used for men who served on Defensively Armed Merchant Ships (DAMS).
