The Trawler Daniel Henley was built in 1917 by Smith’s Dock Shipbuilding Company for the First World War. The names of these Trawlers were taken from the crew of HMS Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar. HMT Daniel Henley was named after the Ship’s Carpenter and served in the First World War.
