The SS Borg was a Cargo Steamship built by John Blumer & Co, Sunderland in 1888 as SS Hampton for Young, Ehlers & Co.
On June 10, 1918 the Defensively Armed Merchant Ship was south west by south of the Lizard and was torpedoed and sunk with the loss of 24 lives.
