The SS Highland Harris was a Refrigerated Cargo Steamship built by Russel & Co, Port Glasgow in 1904 for the Nelson Line Ltd, Liverpool.
On August 7, 1918, 82 miles south west of Eagle Island, Co Mayo, the SS Highland Harris was torpedoed and sunk with the loss of 24 lives.
