49576: Safeguard
The ‘Safeguard’, a wooden motor drifter, caught fire in the Minch on 25 June 1934. She was skippered by Murdo Macleod, 26 Cromore and was finally sunk by the ‘Nellie Gardner’, 8 miles south-west of Stornoway.
