Cunard Line is a cruise company based at Southampton, England. Its history can be traced back to the British and North American Royal Mail Steam Packet Company, founded in 1838 by Samuel Cunard and others. The name was changed in 1878 to the Cunard Steamship Company Ltd, which ultimately became Cunard Line, currently owned by the Carnival Corporation.
