The first occupants of 1 Lochside, North Tolsta were Murdo Macdonald from 1 North Tolsta and Ann Maciver from 10 North Tolsta and their children: Angus, Catherine, Kate and John Murdo. After Ann died,the feu passed to Catherine.

Catherine Macdonald was married to Angus Campbell in Glasgow where they had had a daughter Catherine. In 1997, after Catherine Macdonald’s death the feu passed to her daughter.

By this time Catherine Campbell had married, a man from Glasgow, and settled at 10 Camach Park, North Tolsta. So, 1 Lochside was sold to a man from England.
