The first tenant of this croft was Alexander Matheson (1771-1857) from Barvas and he passed 13 Aird Tong to his son, Donald Matheson (1825-1903). Upon the death of Donald the croft was passed to his son, Alexander Matheson. Alexander passed the croft to his son, Alexander Matheson and he left 13 Aird Tong to his widow Annie.
