104622: 25 Knock Carloway

Croft 25 Knock Carloway was created in the 1850’s for Malcolm Macphail (1807-1882), 6/8 Knock Carloway.  On his death, the croft was split between his sons-in-law, Malcolm Macleod who took 25 Knock and Angus Macarthur who took 26 Knock Carloway.  The croft was sold to John Macleod, 7 Knock Carloway.
