104655: 17 Tolsta Chaolais

Kenneth Maclennan (1811-1880) was the first tenant of this croft, followed by his son John (1841-1914).  The croft was passed down through the family until it was sold to Roderick Macleod, 13b Tolsta Chaolais.  It was then passed to Roderick’s grandson, also called Roderick, living in Canada.
