105093: 6 Dalmore

Murdo Macleod (1883-1948), Murchadh a’ Sgiobair, 45 South Shawbost was allotted croft number 6 when Dalmore was re-settled in1921. Murdo was  married to Annie Macphail of South Shawbost. They had no family. Murdo died tragically at The Gate Dalmore in 1948 as a result of a carting accident while taking home peats with his horse. The croft was sold.
