110662: 19/20 Aird Tong

19/20 Àird Thunga

The first occupants of 19/20 Aird Tong were Donald Maciver (1796-1873) and his wife Margaret Maciver. They were on  Aird Tong rent roll from 1825-1829 and may have only been cottars on land, known as the Loddan, In 1941 the family moved to 20 Old North Tolsta.

Between 1846 and 1850 the land was made into two crofts, 19 Aird Tong and 20 Aird Tong.
