110708: 49a North Tolsta

49a North Tolsta was feued off from 49 North Tolsta. The first occupants were Norman Murray and Christina Mackenzie; the couple had seven children: Angus, Catherine, Annabella, Angus, Murdina, Murdina and Jean. Two of these children, Angus and Murdina, died in infancy. In due course the house passed to their youngest daughter Jean.

Jean Murray married Alexander Campbell and the couple had three children: two boys and a girl. After Jean’s death the house was sold and subsequently demolished.
