13 Habost was the site of the tack-house, when the area was a tack or farm. The last tacksman was Duncan Maclennan (Donnachadh Mac Dhomnuill ic Raoill) who contined to live on 13 after the farm (comprising crofts 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13) was broken up into crofts - considered to have been later than the rest of the village was lotted.
