115807: 22 Aird Tong

22 Aird Tong was a newly lotted croft in 1850; the first occupant was Alexander Macfarlane, of 9 Aird Tong. He swapped the croft with his brother Malcolm.

Malcolm Macfarlane was married to Christina Macleod, of 16 Aird Tong, and when he died, in 1877, she gave up the croft.

22 Aird Tong passed to Alexander Mackinnon, of Flodabay and Gress Tack, and Annabella Campbell, of 14 Back and the niece of banntrach Neil at 3 Tong. The couple had at least one child and in due course 22 Aird Tong passed to their son, Roderick.

Roderick Mackinnon married and had at least one child. On his death 22 Aird Tong passed to his son.
