The first tenant of 12 Sheshader was Kenneth Campbell (1795-1861) from Bayble. The croft passed to his widow's nephew Francis Macleod (1835-1907) son of Malcolm, Bayble. It then passed to Francis's daughter, Mrs Ann Maciver (1871-)  Widow, Ann divided the croft between her brother, Francis Macleod (1871-) 12b and her sister, Mrs Mary Macaulay (1863-) 12a.
